Hi, I'm Arthur!
Based on my name, people have assumed I'm in my twilight years, sporting a long, grey beard. Contrary to what my name might suggest about my age, that's actually me in a recent photo.
Now that we cleared that up... I'm a freelance photographer based in beautiful Toronto, Canada which is where I was born and raised. Fun fact: my background is Hungarian and that was my first language. I digress...
You can find me globetrotting in my fancy tuxedo, camera in hand, as I regularly cover top entertainment events around the world for the Associated Press including the Cannes, Venice, Sundance and Toronto International Film Festivals. My work is regularly published all over the world in the likes of Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, People, InStyle, Us Weekly, The New York Times, GQ, and Vogue, amongst others. Despite being on assignment, I always have my venerable Leica camera — it's been endearingly referred to as my “murse” — with me to shoot personal work in my downtime between my editorial & commercial assignments.
I consider myself blessed and fortunate to be trusted by my corporate & commercial clients who are amongst the world's largest and most recognizable brands. Some of the wonderful teams I have the pleasure of working with include Apple, Netflix, Google, Keurig, Capital One, Twitter, Burger King, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Nintendo, Gap, Sephora, The Home Depot, Tim Hortons, CTV, Amazon, Warner Bros., and MAC Cosmetics.
In the rare instances when I'm not making photos for myself or my clients, you can usually find me drumming or training mixed martial arts.
